Lynco Design Pottery

Lynn FitzGerald earned a BFA Degree in Ceramics at the Kansas City Art Institute - working with Ken Ferguson and a MFA Degree in Ceramics and Sculpture at the University of Minnesota – working with Warren MacKenzie. After Graduate School she taught at the University of Louisville in Kentucky, at Louisville School of Art in Anchorage, Kentucky and at the Pratt Fine Art Center in Seattle, Washington.

Later, after exhibiting in Trade & Craft Shows with her work across the country for 17 years, Lynn developed a Pottery Store for her work – first in Escondido, California and then in Taos, New Mexico. The Taos Store was called Lynco Design Pottery which was first located at the end of Bent St. and later in the John Dunn Plaza.

While having a store in Taos, Lynn worked with the Town of Taos from 2001-2005 with the first Taos Project Merchants Organization on Downtown Revitalization Projects. This experience lead into a position with the National Main Street Program, first in Colorado and then later in Arizona. Lynn returned to Taos in 2012. She has now developed a studio again and plans to continue with her creative work.
